:: a secure and encrypted wireless network geared for use by ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø students and employees that requires authentication through ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø login credentials. 


Step 1:

Select ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-WiFi (5GHz-supported device) or ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-LegacyWiFi (2.4GHz-supported device) in your wireless network list.
Select ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-WiFi

Step 2: 

Androids & Chromebooks

Some Android phones and Chromebooks may require you to specify some or all of the following settings:

  • EAP Method: PEAP
  • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
  • Domain/Suffix Domain: valdosta.edu
  • Certificate: select Do not validate (This may be a necessary workaround due to an undisclosed device bug.)
  • Identity: Enter your MyºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Username (without the @valdosta.edu)
  • Password: Enter your MyºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Password
  • Anonymous Identity: Leave blank

After inputting needed information, click CONNECT


Apple & Other Devices

Enter your MyºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø username only and password into the appropriate fields and Join the network. 
If prompted, choose to Trust the certificate

     Login with your MyºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Account

 

 

 



Expired Password/Connection: If it has been more than 180 days since your last connection to ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-WiFi/ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-LegacyWiFi or if maintenance has occurred that prevents you from connecting, you may need to select the Forget Network function on your device to remove the invalid ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-WiFi/LegacyWiFi connection and then complete the steps above to establish a new connection.
